Participating in this meeting highlighted the extensive efforts of the Office of Head Start within our communities. It was invaluable to witness how other Native programs prioritize cultural preservation, providing me with fresh perspectives to bring back to my own classroom.

"Beyond the valuable knowledge I gained at the conference, the unique energy and hospitality of New Orleans left me with memories and perspectives I will carry forever. During this session, I worked with two others to build a bridge using limited materials. By integrating everyone's ideas into the design, we successfully created a structure strong enough to hold the most water bottles. A powerful reminder of what can be achieved through collective creativity."

I am looking forward to an upcoming opportunity at the Montana School for the Deaf & Blind in Great Falls, where I will have the privilege of implementing an original lesson plan I designed specifically for their unique learning environment
